What was your favorite subject in school?

My favorite subject was history. I enjoyed learning where and how my ancestors created and responded to life and the world changing around them.

I admired their intuitive genius and how intuned they were with nature.

I’m scarred by the generational effects of slavery and how it must have been 1 million times worst for my predecessors but I’m committed to making them proud.

I’m now living the life they dreamed of (minus world wars, the effects of climate change and other worldly issues).
