Observing Nature, Being Mindful part 4

The rain water left in the drain doesn’t look the same as it did when I was a child.

As a child, the less than 2 feet of dark green water looked like a whole other world was under there.

For days I saw fish and tadpoles swimming without worry that the water settled there , was temporary.

We’ve had 2 days of rain so I’m not expecting fish and tadpoles but I’m hoping they’ll come soon.

Coming from where?

I’m not sure .

But now, the rain water looks like rain water.

Nothing more.
