Reversing Bad Karma

I watched a Monk on You Tube who said that to reverse bad Karma, one has to do good and be a good person.

Don’t think about the rewards of any good deed. The act of doing the deed with good intentions is enough motive for that kind deed to be returned in the world.

I’m not here to debate the soundness of this advice.

I’m here to say that it is sound enough for me to put into motion.

So I commissioned 3 people, to help me clean the drain close to our house. The constant blockage of water and garbage had affected 200 homes in the community where I live.

And I promised my Friend who works for the Child Development Agency that i’ll report to her, for scheduled help, any homeless child that I see on the road.

Doing this makes me feel good and that’s all that matters.

I know that putting these good deeds into the Universe will create a cycle of benefit and opportunities for more people that I can imagine and I’m doing so without expecting a reward.
