Sunday service:
The glory days
There is not much glory in the known. The glory is in the unknown. Who we become in the unknown, is someone that shrunk or someone who relied on God to fill the empty spaces and experienced glory. The glory days are not over, the glory is not over. The glory days could be every day, it’s not over. God wants to show up in your situation in a way that it’s undeniable that he’s there. He’s got manifold wisdom and glory waiting for you. Your best days are NOT behind you. You have not seen all the miracles you are to see. You are still alive, your breath is a promise that the glory days can happen everyday! But it takes some arresting. What you need is another encounter.
Have you ever lost where you fit? I’m not quite this but I’m not quite that either. These are glory days too. Glory is not for the full, it’s for those of us who recognize we are empty without it.
A few notes I made at church.
