Life can feel stagnant at times.
I’m learning how to set goals and stick to them.
I even have an accountability partner who checks in on my progress intently.
Goals steer us in the direction and resources that will manifest the situations, people and things we have been working towards receiving.
There are times, though, during this waiting stage that opportunities begin to look miles and lifetimes away.
The light at the end of the tunnel starts to get dimmer. If we aren’t careful, with continuous setbacks and obstacles that are almost inevitable in any journey, we may give up on our goals altogether, convincing ourselves that our plans were initially too audacious.
But all hope isn’t lost. Some may beg to differ, but I believe life is a constant field of dilemmas and difficult decisions to ponder continuously.
Life’s dilemmas are a never-ending maze of opportunities to emerge stronger. With a negative perspective on the purpose of life’s most gruelling situations, we can easily slide into a quest for meaning which tempts us to believe we live in a well of unluck and that we’re doing a few things wrong when we aren’t.
I genuinely believe that this is the nature of life and that each dilemma presents us with a prize and the direction with which our life will take.
It’s a difficult concept to grasp, but with each choice, our intuition and decision making muscles emerge stronger.
We become more knowledgeable, we strengthen our grit, and we transform into critical thinkers when we are faced with options, dilemmas and difficult decisions.
I believe the universe empowers us to choose wisely, but easier said than done.
Let’s help each other to choose wisely so that we can positively navigate life’s hurdles and seamlessly (or not) get out of the rut, please.
I surely could use some help.
