This could not have been further from the truth.

I can even go on to add some jewels I’ve heard over the years-that success is when opportunity meets preparedness .

Your opportunity to land you that coding job will arise once you have put your best foot forward, and without any motivation or encouragement, decide to put your seatbelt on , do donuts on mediocrity , while flooring it to the coding resources to master that skill, level up on your readiness for promotion while the opportunity seeks you.

I don’t know if this is physics , meta physics, faith or grace, but something magical happens when we decide to shake things up, ready ourselves for opportunity, seek it out and it shall find you.

Of course in Physics, it is taught that whatever is in motion tends to stay in motion so do not become weary when opposition, procrastination, criticism and doubts begin to flood and disguise your opportunity who is already in transit to you.

The opportunity of things may not be accustomed to going your direction so it will take maximal effort to stay on track with your preparedness to attract the opportunity.

Try it.

What is that one thing you’re good at, is trying to achieve or a talent you don’t pay much attention to yet an opportunity to display such talents always presents itself to you.

That is opportunity knocking.
